![]() When the lawyer returns, the Warden lies about Stanley stealing the treasure, but Zero saves the day by telling the truth and explaining that the chest has Stanley's name on it. When Stanley and Zero find Kate Barlow's treasure, she spots them and tells them about her past, but keeps well away because of the yellow spotted lizards covering Zero and Stanley. After Stanley leaves to find Zero, Stanley's lawyer comes to pick him up after finding Stanley innocent. Zero then runs off and she thinks that he's dead. She then learns that Zero has been digging part of Stanley's hole in exchange for Stanley teaching Zero how to read, so she tells them to stop. Later, the Warden finds out that Stanley and Zigzag (Ricky) got into a fight, and that Zero (Hector Zeroni) strangled Zigzag. Then, she scratches him on the face with her rattlesnake venom nails. Sir if he thinks that Stanley stole the seeds, he says no and believes that Stanley is covering for someone. ![]() Sir (Marion Sevillo)'s sunflower seeds from his truck, she tells Stanley that she uses rattlesnake venom in her nail polish. Whenever one of boys finds something interesting, he gets the whole day off just like X-Ray (Rex Washburn) did when Stanley Yelnats IV (Caveman) gave him the lipstick tube that he found. Pendanski (Mom) to work as counselors at her new Camp, while the camp itself would be populated by many batches of delinquent teenaged boys to help her dig holes under the guise of "character building". During that time Louise invited an escaped convict named Mr. Years after her grandfather's death, Louise, now a young woman, decided to open Camp Green Lake in the hopes that she had will find the treasure like he wanted her to, with herself as the Warden. The elderly Trout walker would die of old age in 1963, when Louise was just 15, but the work to find the treasure did not die with him. Over the next 39 years of his life, Trout would make his children (Louise's parents, uncles and aunts) and even grandchildren (including Louise herself) dig with him everyday, even including Christmas day, as was shown in the movie when the 11 year old Louise complained that she was tired to which her grandfather callously replied that it was "too damn bad". Her grandfather had began driving himself crazy digging in 1924 after the suicide of the outlaw Kissin' Kate Barlow, unsuccessfully looking for the dead outlaw's buried treasure/loot in order to replenish the fortune he had in his youth that was lost ever since it stopped raining in Camp Green Lake when Trout had Sam murdered in 1904 (almost as divine judgement). Louise Walker is the granddaughter of Charles "Trout" Walker and Linda Walker, who lived with her and her parents in Green Lake as she grew up.
